The Raymond Glass Project is a non-profit content production company for glass blowers to showcase their artwork and gain attention. the challenge was to change the stoner stereotype related to glass bongs to a form of high level craftsmanship and functional aesthetic look.
To create a focus on the art and functional aesthetic, I created content that showcased the close up detail of the glass pieces as well emphasize the functional beauty through cinematic shooting and editing. I created higher quality cinematic videos to re-frame the viewer's perception of bongs as art pieces.
Youtube allowed the style of work to be expressed, but Facebook groups allowed a conversation to take place on high end bongs and sales. Facebook groups were created around individual artists and allowed appreciation and sales threads that grew the glass blowers reputation. This also allowed glass blowers a direct conversation to their collectors.
